Roommate conflicts are like brush fires – they happen quickly and need to be addressed urgently. Hotspot reporting identifies the key areas most likely to cause roommate conflict. This client guides roommates through a process on “how to have the difficult” conversation so they can create effective room rules.
Instead of having a paper and pen process when reflects a fixed moment in time, a digital roommate agreement is easily updated and retrieved by roommates and super at any time!.
Roommate relationships are the foundation for success as a resident and building community. This client’s tool gives both residents and supers the ability to engage and support residents as they navigate the ups and downs of living together.
Drupal expertise in Colorado is much limited than main stream programming efforts such as Java and Microsoft. Additionally, these resources are costing $100+/hour instead of the regular $75/hour for Microsoft platform.
During the on-boarding of a new facility, data for residents and supers within a university resided within third party systems. Facilities usually do not allow direct integration resulting in data extracts and data loads, without having integrity rules at the inbound.
Setting up each facility on Drupal requires a technician to build a website, load the data and ensure that the system is thoroughly tested. The current platform costs more than 20% of the revenue for setting-up which is very high by industry benchmarks; and time consuming.
With three instances deployed, this client already has two difference code base because one facility has developed further on their instance. This resulted into a very costly programming situations when expanded to more than 10 facilities.
Current functionality need to be significantly enhanced in order to put further proposals to newer facilities because these facilities are being built to accommodate common areas and not just rooms.
Current Drupal-based system accommodated only one set of construct (questionnaire). For multiple scenarios where common areas and community places that do not require profiles but just a contract, current system cannot facilitate the needed function.
